Clinton County BioEnergy LLC (Clinton County): Clinton County is a renewable energy company that has contracted with Nova’s subsidiary Biosource America to complete the design/build of a 10 MGY biodiesel refinery located near Comanche, Iowa. Sanimax Energy, Inc. (Sanimax): Sanimax Energy, Inc. is a highly successful
and technological leader in the North American rendering industry. Sanimax has contracted Nova’s subsidiary Biosource America for the design/build of a 20-Million Gallon per year biodiesel refinery in Wisconsin. On December 5th, 2005, Nova broke ground on the Sanimax facility with a scheduled completion date of September 2006. Sanimax’s president, Mr. Mike Langenhorst, has served as both the World Rendering Industry’s and the National Rendering Association’s past presidents. Mr. Langenhorst has reviewed many of the leading biodiesel technologies and has chosen to employ Nova and the proprietary patented process technology offered by the company for Sanimax’s biodiesel refinery. Mr. Langenhorst stated, “After investigating the different options we have been exposed to, we feel this is the world’s best biodiesel technology for multi-feedstock usage.” For more information, please visit their website at (http://www.anamax.com).
Scott Petroleum Corporation (Scott Petroleum): Scott Petroleum is a family owned company that has specialized in the distribution of petroleum products since 1935. Scott Petroleum currently operates twenty-five bulk plants, seven remote plants, and seven c-stores throughout north central Mississippi, southeastern Arkansas, and northern Louisiana. Nova and Scott Petroleum have entered a joint venture arrangement for the design/build of a 20 MGY refinery. Illinois Joint Venture with Kaluzny Brothers Affiliate: Nova has a joint venture arrangement for the construction of a 60 MGY refinery to be located in the Seneca, IL. KBI Energy, a Kaluzny Brothers affiliate, has agreed to provide $4 million in project equity financing for the proposed Seneca refinery. The investment closed July 12. The feedstock supply agreement with Lipid Logistics, LLC, an affiliate of Kaluzny Brothers, Inc., will provide for all the feedstock requirements of the proposed 60 million gallon per year facility. The real estate purchase agreement provides for the purchase of 54 acres in the Shipyard Industrial Park of Seneca, Illinois near Chicago and offers excellent access to truck, rail, and barge.
